And it's painfully obvious that they have given Chris a sh1t engine so he won't beat Loris in the championship AGAIN this year. I don't believe that Chris can finish 6th last round and now is slower than Talmasci. Suzuki already is looking dumb but I guess the logic is that they would look even dumber for sacking the guy who had the most points for them 2 years in a row and keeping the other guy. But we know they're idiots.

MOTOGP » Suzuki sunk by cold temperatures

Rizla Suzuki racers Loris Capirossi and Chris Vermeulen have a mountain to climb in Sunday’s season-ending Valencia Grand Prix after cold and windy conditions left the pair just 13th and 18th in qualifying.

Spies has to be so glad he didn't wind up here. I was reading Denning's comments in the latest Cycle world. He states that Suzuki and all the other members of the MSMA agreed contractually with Dorna to "participate" until 2011! This is why Suzuki's particpation has seemed like mere "Attendance", thats just what it is.

Sickening!

When is Denning going to get sacked?

Suzuki should be mindlessly ringing the phone of Tardozzi and mailing him a blank check for him to fill out.

And I can almost hear Bautista now "I choose THESE guys?"

The article I mentioned is titled Captain America in the December issue of CW. I ride a Suzuki and will forever be a Suzuki and Kevin Scwhantz fan. But these guys are making it hard! I still say Kevin is the guy to turn this team around!

Wow, sack Paul Denning? In the same way that people used to say sack Gary Taylor the previous manager?
Honestly, the team must be ****ting itself thinking that the factory's 'top engineers' are hard at work on the 2010 bike as it's probably the same crack team (on crack team come to think of it...) that designed this piece of sh1t. EVERY year now this same tired old line gets trotted out by this team. It is not the fault of the actual race team but of a poorly executed concept from the race engineering dept. If they stuck a set of slicks on a GSXR1000 it would be a far better idea, save on the transport costs as well, just turn up in their taxi pick one up from the local dealer each time...

IMO the big Suzuki bosses managed the factory's entire motorsports very badly. They had let Spies to go away, kicked out Corser in WSBK, but trusts in Kagayama (and Watanabe in BSB), they failed with every single piece of development, they are going backwards quite fast after 2006-2007 when Hopkins and Vermuelen produced acceptable results permanently, and fighted for the title in WSBK. Since then suzi has been rapidly falling down in every series but AMA...

Blah Blah Blah been hearing the same crap for a decade
Next years bike this, New development that. These guys haven't made a decent bike since 01. It isn't the team, the riders or the managers. ITS THE BIKES ARE CRAP !!!
Thank goodness they didn't sign Ben so his career wasn't destroyed by these Shi$$y bikes. Where are all these new bike that were going to come in the 4 stroke era ?? 7 factories in SBK 8 soon??? MotoGP is in a sorry state I tell ya really sad to see

Hell yeah sack Denning.

He should be sacked for letting Spies walk out the front door of the factory if nothing else. A week after this clown signed Loris last year there was an article on MCn where he said they needed to get "younger riders". What?!

He should have got a call from Japan after qualifying after Spies finished ahead of both riders stating to turn in his keys. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a box from Japan at his door step when he gets back home. In it will be a sword and note that says "fall on it".

I think you'll find that Suzuki would've loved to have signed Spies, he simply wanted too much money !! Suzuki are the smallest and poorest funded of the Jap' manufacturers so their total costings, on an entire season, could equate to Honda R&D alone. Denning gets 'what he can afford' and the Capirossi signing was inspired, everyone saying he was 'beyond best and picking up his retirement fund'...nobody works harder than this guy, nobody. Denning said, he 'needed younger riders..to thrash what they're given regardless' not that he could afford the best. Next season?
The '07 bike was one of the best in gp's..so it's a couple of years ago they produced a fine bike, certainly not 8yrs ago!

Dean Dean 2 of the big 3's bikes were crap in 07 Suzuki's was less so. Thats the only reason they looked better.
Honda and Yamaha got the 800s very wrong but by end of 07 "fixed" them. Even if Rossi was riding them he would be killing himself just to get 3rd or 4th place.
