Glad he's got a ride, Toni is a very exciting rider to watch but he's too inconsistant for MotoGP. May turn out to be a good move for him. Good luck to him.

It's a shame the grids aren't big enough for riders of the quality of Elias and De Angelis to be able to find a place there.

Elias is a good rider but for the last 3yrs he has got himself a ride by been quick at the end of the year but never at the begining, its his own fault he carnt blame anybody he needs to learn to motivate himself.

Agreed. Toni and Alex are both fabulous to watch ride. Glorious styles and not too shabby in the results department if they put their mind to it!

Nicky had a bad start of the season,but since Assen he has been fighting for 5th place in most of the races . He was only 11 points behind Elias ,and if he was not hit by De Angelas at Missano ,and Lorenzo at Phillip Island , he would have been 7th in the Championship .

@NCR
Indeed Thats the point : 2009/19rides (Hayate+ Spies/Sterilgarda included).Thats a POOR GRID. When watching at a circuit results specially boring(you wont notice that much on TV). My kids enjoy more the 125/36 riders continuous Show!.
-For 2010 same figures :You add a single seat Aspar/Ducati 2010-but lessened by Hayates atriction.
-Dorna should(IMVHO) work for a 24/26 rides Grid.

Toni is such a good rider and better then most riders in the class and better then the ones coming up from 250 for 2010. Sadly he's always struggled with set up in the early season which has cost him this year. Still he could well be the champion in Moto2 in 2010 if he's on a good bike.

Toni you remain.......AWESOME

There'll be little excuse for him not to absolutely dominate in Moto2 next year. Hopefully that'll be fun to watch.
