Yamaha's best year.....

Yet Rossi feels as if Yamaha would be better off with just one rider or a wall in the garage!

Valentino....there is no "I" in TEAM. And to say that Lorenzo is only winning because of the bike YOU developed must really rub JB and his other meachanics the wrong way considering all they have done to improve the bike.

Rossi is a selfish hypocrite. I hope this is his last title as his ego is completely out of control as are his fangirls :-o

Yamaha have buit a great, great bike but only because of my develpment. I should be the only person allowed to win on it or its not fair and I will have a tantrum and leave.

Any way you cut it Yamaha have done well.
Rossi maybe was pushed further out of his comfort zone more often than previously but still took the title with space to spare. So folk can carp as much as they want, the facts are the facts there and 'if onlys' don't change that.

Quite why he's having a strop about he 'develops the bike and Lorenzo benefits' is not so obvious. He may genuinely feel Lorenzo's threatening his supremacy. He might be angling for an 'honourable' excuse to jump ship. Or he might just be after bigger fee.

One thing I am sure is this is business for him. He's a devious sod and he'll have a crafty reason. Mistaking this for childishness is, well, childishly niaive. :

I do think that Rossi is already seriously thinking of Ducati as the ultimate challenge to end his outstanding career. You "anti or pro" Rossi idiots forget that the guy has nothing to prove to anyone anymore. With the 990cc coming back and new bikes for everybody he could do it.Lorenzo is just an excuse at the moment not a problem for him.It would even suits him if Lorenzo won the WC title next year so to leave Yamaha without too much fuzz. Question: what would Stoner do because it is a given that Ducati will never turn Rossi down?
The only issue Rossi has at the moment is his motivation to carry on. :)

I guess that plenty of you saw the Rossi interview on the BBC before the race?

My personal preference would be for him to stay with Yamahahaha and win one, if not two more WCs before he retires. A move to Ducati would be interesting but there is no real need for him to do it other than using it as a bargaining chip for the 2011 contract with Yamahahaha.

My dream: Triumph (or Norton) returns to MotoGP, makes Rossi an offer he cant refure and they win the MotoGP WC first season out!

Well... I can dream! :)

BLOAT46 - Go read the recent interview with Burgess on motogp dot com. It was from a couple races ago. He said something along the lines of "There are two riders in this garage, but one develops the bike and the other one just rides it."
