Nicky would have been 7th or 8th overall if not for being punted off 3 times by Takahashi, DeAngelis and Lorenzo. No one deserves that, but if it was Rossi the world would have stopped turning. Hayden did better thus far than any other rider who has tried the Ducati 800 except for Stoner. Nothing can dispute that fact. Hayden is getting faster on the Ducati and should do well in 2010. The w@nk3rs may w@nk on all they like.

Hayden 13th 104 points and been smoked by a satelite rider who finished in fifth place with 160 points. Another finish near there that will be the end for him at Ducati.

Lorenzo will always beat Hayden in the races.

I am glad to see Nicky doing well. I really wish they would allow testing during the year.

Nicky definitely made progress where others failed. he should be given credit for that.

I really like how those who said early in the year that Nicky would finish behind Kalio, who was much more talented than Nicky, now say "big deal. He beat a rookie." I guess hate knows no logic.

Sadly, even if Nicky progresses further next year, it looks like 2010 may be his last with Ducati, what with either Lorenzo or Valle leaving Yamaha. You have to think Ducati is going to go after the one who leaves.

Nicky yet to beat his team-mate on the same bike unforunately that aint going to happen. If Rossi or Lorenzo leave at the end of 2010 Nicky could be a candiate for the factory ride mind you though there also could be competition from Spies for that ride as well.

Uhhhhhh 2006! Stupid post!

By the way M1 fan, the same Tech 3 rider that beat Hayden in the championship also beat the factory Repsol Honda rider that replaced Nicky! :?

you know what? if you were the one who disrespect nicky's talent, Shame on you!
nicky is great rider, he won 2006 title, last 990 era and he deserve to be factory rider.
I think he could be on top in 2007&2008 if honda still use RC211V...that bike was very fast and match with nicky style.

by the way the new GP9 chasis is really cool and looking very strong!

you forgot about when hayden and biaggi were on the same team. who won that one?

i think he's done ok this year despite his final placing. he certainly did much better than most others have on a ducati save stoner.
