Riding around for 50 laps is the easy bit as far as testing is concerned. It's turning how the bike feels into meaningful information for the engineers to work on that separates the men from the boys. Rossi has been working towards getting the bike right since 2004. It obviously works well now!

Can see Spies being Yamaha's number 1 son very very soon.
Spies will beat Rossi in 2010,the writing is most definitely on the wall. :p
Spies is something else and a real racer!

Lorenzo's new contract says his bike will always be the same as Rossi. What's going to happen when one of them finds a part aids him and the other doesn't? That's where the significance of the different bikes comes in (the parts trickle down eventually). One rider will inevitably become number two when the factory chooses its direction, and that's why Rossi and Lorenzo won't be on the same team in 2011. Neither will stand to be marginalized and Yamaha has to choose carefully.

Why would Rossi be impressed? Didn't he build the bike? Design, engineering, manufacturing and assembly was all Rossi! Right?

looks an easy decision to me, 18 races, Rossi finished infront of Lorenzo 13 times and fell off twice meaning that Lorenzo beat him 3 times..yes I know JL was leading in the races Rossi fell but you get the picture add to that Rossi retaining the title, yes that's back to back for the stoner fans..
easy
