I like Simon to do well next year.I don't think it would be a good for him to go up to MotoGp in 2011 even if he win Moto2 and takes the option up.In my view 2012 will be the best time for him to step up

Bradley/Simon signed 2 year deals in 2008 to ride for Aspar in 09/10 which they are doing. Bradley 2nd year was an option to move up to the 250 but I can not understand why Aspar could not offer him a Moto2 ride coz Moto2 is less money than 250. But Bradley in 125 next year it good still coz Moto2 is a lottery now.

My view Bradley cannot get the sponership cash also he not spainsh/italian and it Aspar first year in MotoGP and and needs the money to devlope the Ducati and Moto2 bikes up

With the Moto2 test times so far off 250 pace at Valencia Aprillia must believe there is a LOT more performance to be had from their Moto2 bike or else they would still run their 250's in the final season for eligibility in the championship... or is that a fallback plan :?

@Duognuts
Its not a matter of sponsorship : AsparTeam only(lastly) promotes 125cc Champions : Lorenzo/Bautista/DiMeglio/Simon and -hopefully- 2010/Bradley.125cc is no way cheaper than Moto2.
I Agree Moto2 will be a sort of Lottery but not that much!. For 100k.€ each single frame Aprillia should Smash any1!.and deliver way above the rest.

safe choices. Simon was pretty good in the 250 class if you remember. I think he was lacking in physical stamina, but his race craft has been proven. Lets see if he can workout a little harder in the off season. How bad do you want it Simon?
di Meglio? he is hit or miss. I question his drive because he has proven his talent. I just hope no one manufacturer like Aprila dominates the series. :?

DC - with Crutchlow being faster than a 250 on a WSS bike with road legal tyres - you would have to expect that with a bit of development Moto2 bikes should lap significantly faster - afterall compared with a WSS bike Moto has better tyres brakes and suspension and weighs 30 kilos less and compared witha 250 30 kilos more offset by 50 bhp more.
