U know I was just looking at the pic above and thinking the same thing. But at the same time I think this guy has IT. And I reckon along with some huge accidents are gonna come some moments of real speed - enough to run with the guys at the front.

Markie what are you talking about? That hair is AWESOME!

Strange, for a guy who did nothing special after 5 seasons in GPs and then suddenly its like it just clicked last season.

He definitely looks the class of the incoming 250 boys. Bautista has the raw pace but too often he makes mistakes or just randomly doesn't show up.

Its a shame they have this crazy rule about rookies not having factory rides. But Dovi needs to look out next season because if Simoncelli shows the pace he looks capable of I reckon he'll be wearing Repsol colours in 2011.

As much as I don't give a **** for his attitude or race tactics, he certainly has the potential to be a contender in the years to come. He won't lack the equipment to do it, so let's see if he continues to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory!

this speedy baffoon will be testing the integrity of his leathers a lot next year. once he figures out it is not that much fun on an 800, he will become a real contender like lorenzo and stoner. just needs to mature. i agree, dovi is in trouble. i don't believe bautista, barbera and aoyama will figure into things.

the real threats will come from spies and simoncelli. they have the potential to join the "aliens", if or when they get on factory machinery. looking forward to it in 2010 and beyond.

I watched the race again Tuesday and you could see he was so out of shape 200 meters before that corner his crash was inevitable. He ran up on the rumble strips and got out of shape and just didn't get her settled before the next corner. Had he just backed it down a little he might be a two time champion instead of having to suffer all the Barbera jokes all winter long! Knowledge is power, and now he knows!
