MotoGP » 'New era' for MotoGP as 1000cc returns in 2012


MotoGP is set to return to the era of 1,000cc engines from 2012 onwards, it has been announced, following a meeting of the Grand Prix Commission between the FIM, Dorna and MSMA in Geneva

We'll have to wait and see in 2012 if we get back the power sliding and exciting races, remember, dorna have brought in new engine laws where they are restricted to how many they can use in a year, i take it this rule will still be around in 2012.

Personally i think they still need to reduce electronics aswell if we want to get the good aul days back
