I was hoping to see him on the Aprilia.

I have read that Tech3 and Gresini haven't got sponsorship yet for their Moto2 efforts which would explain why they couldn't tempt him to sign.

I'm glad that he won't be in WSB, no place there for motogp rejects, it is too good for him.

But both him and Elias probably feel that if they leave the gp paddock, then their chances of a return to the motogp class will be lost...

This GP209 with an adjustable aluminum chassis sounds interesting, does anyone know how this works?

I wonder if It's dimensionally adjustable or just stress adjustable (stress adjustment can be done by adding or removing strengthening plates)

wes, you're having a laugh..right?

Try, Toseland, Checa, Haga, Corser, Xaus, Vermulen, Haslam, Guintoli, Byrne, Pitt. etc.etc.

Good luck to Alex, a bit unlucky to lose the GP ride this year IMO..will be one to watch.

Not a bad move for him, he is not old enough to go to the retirement fund of WSB, he is a very fast rider, just crazy. Scot have a good technical team, sometimes DeAngelis doesn't need that, just the red mist.

@ Monster,
I guess all race bikes at this level have adjustable headstocks, engine positioning, and swing-arm pivots.
I think your contention about some kind of more sophisticated adjustment of tortional adjustment in the chassis is about all that's left.
I,like you, would be curious to know, anyone with "insider knowledge" out there?

Seems like a very strong line-up for Scot next year, both riders (esp. de angelis) are very fast and worthy of being in motogp. He'd have done a great job in wsbk but he has to be the early season favourite for moto2 now right??!
