In a word, moaning. This is a prelude to a season of moaning. It'll be unlike anything you had ever seen. The mystery illness just pales in comparison. Of course with all the capable young guns on the grid, he'll have to be prepared.

Its all in his head, he is faking it so he can setup his excuses for this year when he gets whipped.....whoops - ignore those last comments I thought it was about Stoners appendix :)

Looks like the top prize for crying is already going to the whingeing minority who hate to see a winner. Is Rossi really going to pick up title number 10? Personally I doubt it even though I am a massive fan of him. How many times will Rossi have to win a world title to convince the Teddy throwers of his talent. They weren't quite so loud in their condemnation the year he left Honda. Yeah that's right he whinged his way onto the Yamaha dog and made it a winner, he didn't just inherit a winner that time.

why dont people accept that this bloke is a legend so he is doing an f1 test so what no one says anything if he does a supermoto race a kart race a moto-x race o that was for a charity and how many races has he missed due to illness or injury so i dont think the appendix thing will be used as an excuse :?

Hmmmm. Doohan was awesome. But Rossi won 125, 250, 500 AND Motogp championships. He challenged for the bigboys 500 championship in his first season. Doohan had loads of practice before he came close. Stop whinging. Rossi is the greatest road racer of his generation. By a mile!

It's a funny old world. It is a Motogp site, and last time I checked Rossi is something to do with Motogp. I guess a lot of people reading this are Rossi fans, I am. But as well as that I'm a Stoner Fan, a Hayden fan, a Lorenzo fan etc etc. These guys are the top of the top. If you don't like reading about Motogp stars doing something other than Motogp, then don't read it... simple really.

Propper fans have their favourite, but don't slag off the competition, they enjoy it.

Non of us can gloat about these riders successes or failures, unless we've been in their arena!

I hope Rossi wins in 2010, but will applaud whoever lifts the Trophy, like the rest of the true bike racing fans
