According to super bike planet, they are several seconds slower than the 250 times. Of course I don't think Honda's delivered the engine yet (even though we're now on the first official tests) so the times can still comes down.

250's were doing 1.45's with Lorenzo on board and favourable conditions, under the kind of okish conditions these guys have had they should be looking for 1.47's which was last years (simlilar weather) times.
So in summary they are 2 seconds off and they aren't using the spec engine, which may or may not improve timings slightly. I guess setup will be key.

Of course they're not using their feet brains, It's a CBR6 engine but not the full spec one they'll be using throughout the season. They'll get a fair few more horses & should get near the 250's before long

What i find amazing is that he has a ride in Moto 2 at all. what has he done the last few years? Anyone remember he was JT's team mate in 2007?
