So I guess you didn't read day 1 was rain out and yesterday still had wet patches causing riders to fall?

Anyway, mottomatters says out of the guys under 1.50 Takahashi on the Tech 3 and Noyes on the Harris are the ones with engines in the lowest state of tune in superstock spec. So it looks like they may have their chassis sorted the best right now.

Things should get a bit clearer when everyone gets the Moto2 spec engine.

I've just checked in and it looks like rain has won the day again. Where are the Gresini Team ??? Just curious. They should be there. Maybe I missed something. Anyway, it's looking pretty good. Robbie, take heart, at least the damage happened when you could realistically anticipate the possibility, rather than where damage should not be part of the equation. Training.
MX etc.

I agree with Rawdawg except that dropping a highly tuned engine in the chassis means starting on a clean page from zero because all settings will have to be changed.

What's up with these guys running a Superstock engine?

When is honda going to supply the teams?

i'm not disparaging the newest class.
it appears as though there will be a full field made up of tried and true teams and riders as well as some interesting newcomers to the world scene.
this is a good thing, and will no doubt make for some serious racing since EVERYONE will be going flat out to be the fastest, and therefore promotable(sic).
i'm just interested to see what happens when dorna's latest offering has a hard time lapping faster than the 125's come raceday.

....if the racing is close and there is passing for the lead every lap, does anyone really care they are 3 seconds off the pace?
I think the speed will come once the motors are supplied and setups perfected.
