If this is not a one off (which I truely hope it's not) then that's what hard work and perseverance does. He's kept his head down and not winged. Well done Nicky. As has been said before. you deserve it. I look forward to the day you win your next GP. Let's hope 2010!!!!!!

Whooooaaaaa Hayden is fast, I guess my fried chicken won't be promoted by him becoz he will contiune racing now with this result. As you all may remember, yesterday I was telling Nicky to forget racing if he keeps getting bad result. I suggested him to go back to Kentucky our beautiful home town and help me selling my fried chicken!
but look at him now,he is fast....so Hayden, forget my chicken and go racing!!

Hard work, determination, and persistence= Nicky Hayden

Duc has made an effort in making the bike rider friendly as opposed to Stoner friendly, and Hayden is showing that with this result. Fluke or not (hope not) this shows he has the capabilities and I think he'll be back top 8 this year.

Go Nicky!
Go Spies!
Go CE2!
Can't wait to Laguna Seca!

I always knew that if 69 gets the duc sorted out that he'll be quick, but not this quick.

Now we have to see what Lorenzo does on his M1. Rossi feels so comfy that he even tried the M1 test bike..lol. That's trouble for the rest but good for the other americans.

His effort to pull of that result reminds me of when he podiumed at Indy a couple years back with a broken foot under torrential rain. When they thought the teams were going back out he was up and hobbling around but ready to get the job done. Now he's still nursing his injury but pushing hard for the result. Good job Nicky, and great to see that it was done on regular rubber since there was some speculation that it was done with special tires. Hopefully you can keep up the pace.
