Ridiculous to choose an nevertheless excellent sprinter over a Multiple world champion with a career that spans the best part of 14 years.
Just goes to show that motorcycle racing forms a niche as a sport and is not recognized by the public.

Sorry, but Darts is a "game" like snooker or pool. It's NOT a sport. To me a sport is some activity that requires physical effort to perform, like football, tennis or athletics.
(You could argue motorsport isn't, but anyone with any knowledge of the sport would quickly dispell that myth as it requires a great deal of effort and must be regarded as a sport)

Phil Taylor is certainly good at darts but come on dude, he's no athlete. Look at the beer gut on him! Rossi has won GP championships on every type of bike he's ridden and has done quite well in other motorsports he's tried, outside of his profession. Taylor plays darts, and by the look of it, trains at the Guiness plant or in pubs. "Can I get some onion rings with this pint please?". Jeez...
