This should make for some real on track anarchy, like the old RD350 Pro Am series, with the bikes so close, you get the cream coming to the top, not spoiled riders who get lucky and have great bikes to mask medium talent.

ok , i don t know who made up this bs about a slower rider- eye witnesses (locals) confirm elias crashed out of expo, riding on his own, when light drizzle started falling on the track, he touched the paint and off he went, the bike cartwheeling until the next turn, michelin

how come no one s named the imaginary slower rider? wasd he not injured?

there was never a slower rider, period. media BS

As has been said this will seperate the men from the boys, over hyped spanish riders near the bottom, real racers at the top, Hugely talented guys on lesser machinery in past years show there pace, i.e corti, jule cluzel, abraham, for too long the gp's have run by spanish pre madonnas hopefully no more.

moto 2 is going to be the best racing in the world for those of us who accuallly like to watch a race.........
I read on a different site that Noyes was hurt crashing a "moto 3" bike. Anyone know about this bike?

Agree Alex,Elias crashed while hounding a 125.Canepa down in 17th or something.Canepa? I'll fondly remember 250,but I'm looking forward to its replacement.
Hell of a decision now for MotoGP cream. Where do they go if they don't do the business this year?
Go to heavy hitting WSBK,(where they've never won a title), or drop down to Moto 2 'snakepit' (where they probably never will win a title)...methinks F1, Rally,
...4 wheels, when the glitter fades.

Elias is certainly quick but can he be consistent? The bike seems to suit his riding style but unless he can set it up well (he seems unable to ride around handling problems) then he may struggle. My money's on Julian Simon for the championship. Any predictions???
