Positive start to the weekend for Stoner. 0.5 seconds ahead of the pack in FP1. Rossi must be sandbagging, as usual (can't believe he's not faster than a less-than-100% Lorenzo).

Just watched the first practice and Stoner set his fastest time in the 9th lap a full 1/2 second faster than than either Rossi or Lorenzo.

He also put in 5 laps in the 1:55s where the next closest guys (VR & JL) only managed a couple of laps in the 1:56s! (Rossi did way more laps too!)

Looks like he's out to dominate the weekend. Will be interesting to see what happens in Qualifying :-)
