Got to agree with Moody, Rossi looks like he's ready to destroy all opposition from the giddy-up this year. He's had an excellent pre-season testing, the best he's had for a few seasons now. He's not looked this hungry for the title for time. Although Casey may win the opener, It may be worth putting some money on Vale as an outsider. Cant wait for this weekend, bring it on!

I think that perhaps the photograph actually covers up the fact that the interviewer Toby is in fact touching his own 'Toby' during the interview and while writing this report. 'Once again untouchable' seems to refer to some form of total domination which hasn't been the case for some time. Yip, no question about it there was a time and yes he won the championship once again last year but untouchable is no longer an accurate description of the situation. We now have credible challengers which is why the championship has become so very interesting over the last few years to lovers of the sport. Toby touchers however often feel quite differently about that situation.....

My apologies, uncatchable was the word actually used. Good luck to each and every one of the riders this weekend and here hoping for another entertaining and safe MotoGP season. :) :) :)

Well said Toby. You may have just put 'the mocker's' on this race. Spies is very quick on cold tyres out the block, and handles 'slippery when wet' bike better than anyone except maybe Stoner. As the rubber degrades,he's the predator to beat. Anyway,as he says...It's just a learning curve this year :)

Last year when he wasn't at the top of the charts in testing he was "sand bagging".

This year when he is at the top he's "uncatchable".

You never know what will happen. That's why they actually have the races!

Rossi did look impressive in the testing and he's got that M1 working exceptionally well. But this is Stoner's track so interesting race coming up! For me it's a coin toss at the moment.

I'd never count Spies out but I hope he rides fast and doesn't have any problems with the dew point like last time out.

Rossi, Stoner, Spies anyone? For a pint?? :)

Rossi must be the odds-on favorite this year. While others may have one-lap speed, do particularly well at specific tracks, or hit a patch of good form, very very few have the season-long consistency to compete for podiums at every track.

Ultimately, it will be a three horse race - Rossi, Stoner, and Lorenzo ... if he can find his form quickly. The fourth alien - Pedrosa - is on the bubble this year because he lacked consistency last year and the Honda does not appear to be ready for battle. Others will have their days in the sun, or the rain as it were, but come fall, it will be quite a surprise if the top three are any different.

Bring it!
