Nicky is a top bloke and I am very happy to see him get back to the top again. Despite being a massive Rossi fan, I was happy to watch him beat Vale to his Championship, he is the only person to have truly beaten him .

Excellent to see the results starting to reappear as a tangible reward for the determination to make it happen. Its been a lean few years but the spirit remained and the effort and determination is now paying dividends. looking forward to the continuation of that and him being a regular back up front. Nice one Nicky - best of luck for the season - you surely used up all the bad stuff last year! :) :) :)

@alex

Stoner in 07 beat Rossi far more comfortably, Nicky lucked into it to an extent in 06, with Rossi being taken out, breaking down, riding injured etc. Whatever people want to say about the 07 Ducati being better than the Yamaha that year, fact is Stoner walked it.

But the big difference between the two is that Stoner is a moaning ****, where as Nicky is a top bloke. 2006 was a 5x MotoGP champ v a guy who (you felt even at the time) would probably never get another chance. After Estoril especially when Pedrosa took him out, I think even Rossi fans couldn't feel bad about Nicky winning it.

There is something very sweet about seeing a nice guy's entire life's work come good.

Kid markets himself like nobody (perhaps in gp history). Almost podiums and all the holoopa! hahaha.. A flash in the pan - unless proven otherwise. Funny thing all the propaganda that Hayden's loose dirttrack rider guy was gonna be great for the duc, but low and behold the easier, sweeter duc is working better for him.. We shall see...

I think this picture is being used on the front cover of attitude magazine in Mays issue with a big Story on the Kid. It's a good read for his fans you would love it RawDawg check it at www.attitude.co.uk
