Kallio dropped it, appears to be ok. Bautista had a big high side, landed right on the injured shoulder but is ok. Spies big highside as well. Injured left ankle. No major breaks, possible hairline, stretchered off, not sure whether he will ride in qualy as yet but should be ok...All three crashed by themselves on third lap of the session. Cooler temps and cold tyres me thinks.

Stoner and Lorenzo looked highly imposing and Alex very, very impressive.

No one crashed anyone out. They all crashed on their own on cold tires on lap 3 of their respective laps.
What was seen on the broadcast showed both Ben and Alvaro high side, Ben hurting his ankle but cleared OK by the medical team.
Didnt see what happened to Mikka but he looked dazed as he hopped over the safety fence.

Anyone know why Dani was going off big time at his pit crew yesterday???

Thanks for the info guys.

Surprising Spies would do such a boneheaded thing.

Too bad, I hope he is not injured and can qualify and race.

It was only lap 3, were they trying to pick up their pace already?

Don't they know they need to get heat into and scuff those tires before they try to go for it?

Lame rookie mistakes.

Of course, being a satellite bike, the electronics may be as good as the factory bikes, so maybe this would not of happened had Spies been on a factory bike. Though 3rd lap is too early to push especially if the weather was cold.

"I bet one of those idiots crashed out Spies."

Dude, don't slag off other riders without even knowing what happened. That's just stupid. Everyone crashed on his own and there certainly doesn't have to be foul play involved for Spies to crash, he's a human being like everyone else and doesn't need to be put on your pedestal.

Hope they're all okay and recovering in time for quali and race.

No problems Morgan but come on, maybe this wouldn't have happened if it was a factory bike? Someone must've hit him?! What are you on about? People on factory bikes don't crash? Rossi has binned it in one of the tests this year on a factory Yamaha you know? Nicky and Casey have both dropped it. Capi and Alvaro ditto. Dani too...What Ben Spies did today was what most people would call a mistake. It happens. It's just been announced he has a left ankle contusion so should be ok to ride in qualy and race so don't stress...

In motorcycle racing, sometimes, people crash. You need to accept that eh?
