MotoGP » Stoner 'has already decided to go', fears Ducati

As speculation over the MotoGP 2011 rider merry-go-round increasingly gathers pace, a well-informed Ducati Marlboro source concedes that 2007 world champion Casey Stoner 'has already decided' to switch to Repsol Honda next year

Another carrot is the opportunity to return the Japanese manufacturer to title glory for the first time since 2006, as well as the personal prospect of joining the elite group of just Rossi, Eddie Lawson and Geoff Duke to successfully claim the premier class championship with two different marques.

Hey Crash wot about AGO
God now how many championships on the MV plus 500 champ for Yamaha in 1974
For me, this is all boiling up for a Rossi move to Ducati

Suppo's move to Honda was to make sure Casey will feel at home under Suppo's guidance. Casey is all lost without Suppo at Ducati. Casey, Suppo & HRC with its huge resources and racing knowledge would even go to the extent of building a Screamer that would fit Casey's needs as they did for Micky Doohan. If they do, I am not sure they will be assured of winning the World Championship ... but sure will win a lot more races, break the Top Speed records and shatter the lap times at plenty of circuits. If the combo works, that would be a Doohan in making.

You can tell Stoner knew ducati was lining Rossi up last year by going to the faggy big bang which guess what !Rossi brought that garbage motor back in co's racing is getting too dangerous,we will all ride the on the same tyres co's i got beaten on those michelins and i don't like that track etc etc and also knows that ducati isn't exactly loyal to there riders either.

And Stoner knows that the greedy Rossi who really doesn't ride motorcycles for the love of it just money and has stuffed gp for years to come' well the ducati's bank balance isn't big enough to keep two class riders.
Ducati also knows that the tecnology that JB/rossi can bring to the duke a bit like when they left honda :-o

Something maybe being over looked here, Honda have said they WANT TO WIN.

Rossi may not go to Honda, but Jerry Burgess might and put the old Australian band back together, he could mould that bike and Casey into a HELL of a package.

How's that for a thought? :-o

I know Honda have said that all along they want to win and with their current riders that aint happening.

Stoner and Burgress as a team they will destroy the entire field but what would that mean for Vale ?

@So basically they could have asked either one of us and did the same story, huh?

I guess you think only you know everything, isn't it?

"Ducati confirms that it will turn to Jorge Lorenzo if Casey Stoner runs for Honda in 2011"

Period.
