Silly season has started early in MotoGP this season, but how do you see the field shaping up in 2011?

The sad MotoGP truth is that each year there's only a couple of bikes (usually from the same manufacture and same team) that have a chance to win the championship regardless of who rides it.

These bikes are so advanced that even the slightest weakness in design makes them unable to consistently match the best bike's performance.

The rider(s) with the best bike design easily outpace the other riders lap after lap.

MotoGP is not a 'fair' series at all.

So few bikes on the grid have the realistic chance to win and the other riders are mostly just 'doing laps'.

Those that try to win on lesser machinery push the machine beyond it's limit end up erroring/crashing.

Kinda lame.

I'm not into quiz shows, so I don't give a monkeys about trying to guess who rides for who.
So getting back to racing, why does Hayden beat his team mate 3 out of 3 and yet he still gets slagged, and Stoner is still a God?
If Ben is not getting special help from Yamaha, why is his bike always so much faster on top speed than Colin's?

I would like to see Rossi change bikes again, and a couple of the other guys. Remember how good it was to watch Rossi fighting Max when he went to Yamaha and effectively left Biaggi with his title winning bike.

There are a couple of big reasons why Yamaha will try to keep hold of Rossi.

1) Hes Rossi! not always the fastest rider in the current field but definitely the best/most complete.
2) Jerry Burgess and crew! These guys are the best in the paddock and losign Rossi means losing the brains that he would take with him. Rossi is highly unlikely to move without these guys so they will have a huge influence.

JB and Co could be the ones to start the musical chairs no the riders!

Lorenzo would be an idiot to leave Yamaha especially as he has the measure of Rossi.
Stoner would be mad to go to Honda as they have forgotten how to build a bike capable of winning a championship.
Rossi darent move to Ducati in case he doesnt win. He will probably tell Yamaha he will stop if they dont sign Lorenzo.
Pedrosa is good enough to keep his ride. People seem to forget he has carried injuries for the last few seasons.

J.Burgess&Co to Honda with Stoner, Rossifumi to Ducati (marriage of love), JLo with Yamaha and Pedrosa to Suzuki (to prove he's better development rider than Hayden)
After that we would be able to see who's the king of MotoGP

Jeeez, guys sayin Lorenzo & Rossi will be teammates next year Are beyond IGNORANCE.

Rossi in December:

Masao Furusawa (Yamaha Boss) Two weeks ago:

Lorenzo is already with Ducati for 2011, Plain & simple.

Ps: Contracts will be signed way before the end of the season, so way before we could know who'll be the next WC between Rossi & Lorenzo. Understood :?

Lorenzo will stay at Yamaha 'cause he knows it's his best opportunity to beat Rossi on the same works bike. Going to Ducati on the hope that he might be able to make it work is a huge gamble, Lorenzo wants to beat Rossi with the SAME machinery, that way no-one can say he had a better or worse bike during his bid for championship. IF Lorenzo wins the championship this year then he might well consider the move to Ducati with the extra big bucks that he'll be able to command.

Also if you want to know VR's future follow JB's little press conferences, and JB says he would prefer to definitely stay at Yamaha, so guess where VR will be next year...

As for the rest it's all pie in the sky.
