Way too early to predict anything.
May...speculation and tentative advances.
June...serious negotiation and offers/counter offers.
July...official announcements.
The teams want to see more than 3 race results to jump at anything. In Stoner's case,he's had 2 blips, but his raw pace on the 2010 Duc won't be ignored by Ducati. But let's have a little fun :
Fiat..Rossi/Lorenzo....Marlboro..Stoner/Hayden
Repsol..Pedrosa/Melandri....Tech 3..Spies/De Puniet
Gresini..Sic/Dovi....Pramac..Capirex/Elias
Aspar..Bautista/Barbera(6th Duc)....LCR..Rea
Suzuki..Edwards/Haslam....Last Honda..Aoyama. :) :) :)

Agree with you Yamaha-M1 Fan,that's why I tout him to join Tech 3.Ben is sort of contracted into next year with Yam,so he will stay.Colin could well get the short end of the stick at the French outfit.
Only a fool would believe that GP is such a 'closed club' that only those in in it,stay in it.
One or maybe two will be drafted from Moto2 and ditto WSBK.Suzuki may well bin the GSVR project and look at 2012 rule options starting development right now and filling numbers for next year only.
All just common sense. The FIM would also want other nationalities on GP bikes sooner rather than later.
And at this stage,just speculation.

Ben still has a contract with Yamaha till next year if Rossi or Lorenzo decide to leave the factory they have Spies as back up who they can promote to the factory team.

I think Tech 3 will keep Colin possibly as a test rider.

My last pot shot at this regards Fiat Yamaha.
Unless the whole team are a bunch of liars, the following applies based on their own statements.
Jarvis : We want to keep them both.
Rossi : I want to finish my GP career with Yamaha.
Lorenzo: I want to stay with Yamaha.
How easy is that to resolve? Fiat Yamaha is based in Italy,Rossi is Italian,Fiat is Italian/Ferrari.
25% of the team is a Japanese manufacturer.A little Ducati thorn will most likely not upset this applecart.
