rossi is known to dislike the fact that after developing the bike to what it is now jorge gets exactly the same equipment. therefore wanting to keep both riders and actually achieving it are two different things.

i think rossi may be tempted to go to ducati because no rider in history has won the title on three different marques. if he thinks he can develop the bike, with jerry who would have to be part of the deal, into a title winning machine he may just be tempted.

there goes my line up

Factory Yam VR/DP, Many of u want DP out, but he is still an alien, and VR always liked him more than JL. Dont think hell mind being 2 at yam.

Ducaty Corse JL/NH, finally JL would get his 1 rider sit

HRC CS/AD, both of them happy, lets see how ds CS preform there

Tech3 BS/RdP, one more year at T3 for BS, then at factory Y with DP

Suzuki Bautista/Haslam or MM, Haslam on Mgp would be great

Lcr CLuzel??

Gresini Elias or MM/Sic

Pramac Elias or Espargaro/Kalio

DUcati Aspar Barbera/Espargaro or Simon

Interwetten Aoyama/Talmacsi

What is with you lot expecting Ben Spies to move to Fiat Yamaha? Lin Jarvis himself said it won't happen because he has a 2 year deal with Monster Tech 3. Stop bumming Ben Spies, yes he's incredibly talented but look at his season so far compared to Jorge Lorenzo. Lorenzo should stay at Yamaha, Rossi should ride the Ducati. I used to love Rossi, he was my idol, but his comments to the BBC about making Yamaha choose between him and Jorge weren't proffesional, and he should just try beat Jorge plain simple on a Yamaha instead of moaning!

Nicky Hayden's worst nightmare. 1) VR stays with Yamaha. 2) No way is Lorenzo's leaving a bike he's killing the competition on (same reason he didn't leave last year). Especially when the Honda has proven itself to be uncompetitive. With Nicky doing a best of fourth and Stoner consistently crashing out, does Ducati have a front end problem? Both Ducati riders think so. Lorenzo would be a fool to risk it (HE WON'T). With Stoner going to Honda I'm afraid Nicky is going to end up with Pedrosa again. UGH! Hopefully Duc won't do it. Hopefully Duc picks up Loris C. and Dani goes to Suzuki. So Stoner and Dovi at Honda. I'm quiet confident with this prediction. Yam-VR&JL, Hon-CS&Dovi, Duc-NH&DP.

@ Heavy Hitter

I agree, why would J-Lo leave a ride that offers him the best opportunity of defeating ALL the opposition with, just wouldn't make sense, If he wins the championship this year on Yamaha I wreckon he'll then move to Ducati, for the "mucho grand" big bucks.

Suzuki needs a Schwantz, there aren't any around that I can see. Dovi to Suzuki ?, only if he can't secure a ride on a tricycle elsewhere.

Dovi and Spies will be on the same place in 2011 since they still had the 2 years contract secured.

Worst case scenario, Rossi and Lorenzo stay at Yamaha. If Stoner move to Honda, Capirossi might return to Ducati as Hayden's teammate. Both become most valuable asset in development and Capirossi might end up his MotoGP career as Ducati test rider.

DP are desperately need a Ducati ride. But for a long run, Suzuki is the suitable place where he could stay as long as he like. It's still a factory ride though, Suzuki could use his light weight advantages for podium finishes and Movistar connection for the title sponsorship.

One question is what form will the 1000cc bikes be in.

If Vale and many others get their way and the bikes lose much of the electronics that the current bikes have I cant see Dani being able to cope with them.

Fact is that he is so small that he does not have the physical mass and strength needed to muscle a bike like that around. You have to look at riders who have proven themselves capable of riding a bike like that. Rossi was a master and has said repeatedly he wants a bike like that again. You also have to look at Stoner whos best rides were on a bike regarded as a beast to ride.
Look also at ex SBK riders who are used to a heavier more powerful bike with less electronics
