why are some saying stoner will be on the rostrum tomorrow? he might be, but his pace throughout quali before his best lap was pretty bad. most of the time he was marooned in 7th, 8th or even 9th whereas lorenzo and pedrosa rarely dropped out of the top 3. them two will run away with it imo and i reckon nicky could get his first rostrum of the year. stoner i think will be 4th (if he finishes) but could have edwards, de puniet and dovi all over him. maybe spies too if he performs like he can

also, if yamaha pick someone to go on rossis bike, pick elias, just because i'd like to see what the guy can do on full factory machinery. did alright on the gresini but could have done better with a better bike.

maybe even put edwards on the bike, not spies. spies is very good but he hasn't earned that ride more than colin based on performances this season. it'd be unfair on the texas tornado who has been immense at times

It's sad to see Rossi go down so hard, and at his own Grand Prix. As much as I hate to say it, this does bring some possitive perspectives into play. With Rossi out for the next couple races or more, the championship is open. Granted Lorenzo is riding great but he has in the past had a few crashes as well. We got a few guys capapable of winning, and with Rossi gone they may find some new determination in them to really fight for the wins. Hope Rossi comes back.

It's weird that the Ducatis are less competitive at their home track. Stoner won last year with the GP9, so if the GP10 is a big improvement, it seems that it isn't showing in this track, at least.

As for the race, if he doesn't crash, I think Lorenzo will win. Pedrosa might be second, maybe we can have Hayden and Stoner up there, though in quali it seemed that Hayden was more "consistent" than Casey, even though Casey ended up with the faster time.

Don't rule out Dovizioso either. He might just have another Le Mans-esque performance, which could see him battle with Dani and the Ducatis.

Jorge will pass Dani within 5 laps. Dani will hold 2nd and Casey third with Nicky 4th who will complain of being held up by slower riders afterward. Randy will crash out and Ben will hold off Dovi while Colin will experience mysterious handling problems and fall to 13th. The rest? Who cares.

well done dani, hope that casey, dovi and jorge will be up front with you tmorrow. just a word, on the two worst commentators ever. moody and the fat bearded bloke, gillian ryder. would there be any chance in not mentioning max, i know you two love rossi but so what. stop bringing up **** about red carpets and water bottles. you two are nobodys, max is greatest rider ever in my opinion. max isnt racing so stop talking complete ****e about him.hope rossi is okay, he is only one rider. batustia missed the last race, rossi is no different

Why should Yamaha go for Spies as Rossi's replacement when Edwards has out-paced him so far this season?

Awesome laps by Pedrosa and Lorenzo. Their race pace is very similar, just hoping one doesn't fade towards the end. Unless Stoner finds a set-up solution in warm-up tomorrow I doubt he'll be on the podium. My money is on Hayden for third, possibly second if Dani fades during the race.

Does anyone know what the go with Bautista is? He's 4.5 seconds off pole. Did he crash during the weekend again? I still have no idea why he signed with the Suzuki nail. I get that he just wanted to get into the Gp class, hopefully get picked up by another team next year but nobody can impress on that heap!

"Why should Yamaha go for Spies as Rossi's replacement when Edwards has out-paced him so far this season?"

Because Spies is a yamaha contracted rider, where as Edwards is on a Tech 3 contract.
I've got to say I'm really interested to see who gets the ride in the Fiat Yamaha garage - I just hope they dont just chuck some random test rider on there.
