good win by pedrobot who even managed to look happy on the podium!!

good class shown by jorge on the grid and the podium. he knows that to be considered the best you have to beat the best. i'm sure he wants vale back asap so he can try and beat him fare and square on track.

i am seriously worried about suzuki. they can make a superb superbike but in the prototype class where they have freedom from regulation they are consistently being beaten by satellite bikes! i can see them saving face and withdrawing next year and then motogp will be in jeopardy with two less bikes on an already paper thin grid.

without Rossi there, every one's mindset is different.
Jorge Lorenzo "now where do i benchmark my time? Where's Rossi? am i maximizing my yamaha M1?"
Pedrosa "finally, i can win this because Rossi is not there, there's no tension fighting with others who is not as strong as Rossi".

JACKBEE.

Poor old Jenny Gow..she doesn't strike me as a bad egg, I just think she's trying too hard and keeps fluffing her lines. Matt Roberts is the only presenter worth listening to IMO on the BBC, but hey, at least it's on the TV. They can only deal with the pictures they're given however, and Dorna run the whole shooting match as far as I know.

Knobler.

Sorry you think it's a daft comment, but Pedrosa was putting laps in consistently under the old lap record and was in a class of one today..It's only an opinion and this is a forum?

Great ride by pedrosa! Well deserved. Good rides by melandri and de puniet, and great show with them and stoner. Spies did reasonably well at 7th, regardless of whether people say it should really be 9th, thats racing. He really needs to be consistantly staying in front of the likes of melandri and rdp though to even be considered for a factory ride. Id like to see rdp on a decent bike now that he seems to be settling down a bit. It will be interesting to see who fills in for Rossi over the next few months.

Incidently, and ill get flamed for this im sure, but in a way i think it makes for better racing without him as now theyll always be good battles for that 3rd podium spot.

Very subdued outing for everyone today, but well done to Dani, he showed a blistering pace today that even Valentino would have struggled to stay with. All in all though apart from the guys dicing for 4th it was a pretty dull race overall. Thought Spies would have been able to get into the mix but he just could'nt seem to get into the groove for some reason. Post race both Edwards and Spies spoke about how difficult their M1's were to manhandle around the circuit. Very odd comments I thought concerning that particular package. Well done Dovi too for keeping Lorenzo honest. At least Stoner managed to stay on for a change. Roll on Silverstone and get well soon Valentino. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed all the racing. All the Championships are alive and well. Kudo's to Dani.
Great rearguard action fom Jorge to keep things at Fiat on track.Dovi...
Good to see Casey chipping away, and Ben...well... well done. Nicky...glad you never broke a leg. Aleix
great ride.
Now, still 14 races to go.Who's going to pull the pin and win the title. I spread my 2 cents over #27,#26 and #11.Started out crap, but my 2 cents are turning a corner.
At Yamaha...who is going to race the 2nd works bike at Silverstone? For God's sake, put SOMEONE on it...quick.The grid is too small...phone Gibernau or Bayliss or someone...the Beat goes on.
