You may think you are the great oracle now Southener but it's dead easy to make predictions like that afterwards.
Tell me when your boy has sorted his front end troubles if you're so clever. Place, date and time please :)

Jorge already used 3rd engine at Mugello. If you do simple math, it is not a good sign with new engine rule. As Rossi will be out of the races for 3 or 4 months, many already think JL walks in the title. I do not think so. It will be great battle between Jorge and Dani.. and maybe Stoner too if the Ducati is sorted out.

Typical Edwards I see. Bigs himself up all weekend and then nowhere in the race as usual. How much longer do we have to suffer this underperforming sluggard before his ride goes to a real racer instead of somebody just bimbling around for the money??

Well, a boring race apart from the Melandri/Stoner/DePuniet scrap. Further proof that Predrobot can only win when he gets away cleanly. If Stoner, Los or Dovi had hit turn one in front its GUARANTEED that Pedrobore would NOT win. Roll on 2011 please!

well only 55 comments so far. that goes to show how much the rossi factor has been important in motor bike racing ever since he hit the scene. it is true that no one is bigger than the sport but that shows he ll be deeply missed when he ritires.
get well soon champ!!! in the meantime lets hope for a great championship still

Pedrosa and Edwards both put on one of their periodic disappearing acts--Pedrosa off the front, and Edwards out the back.

The Ducati boys swap things around, this time Hayden throws it on the ground, and Stoner finishes P4. Apparently, 4th place is the best that can be done on the Duc without throwing it away. Turns out Stoner's ride made both him and Hayden look better--Casey for staying on and finishing, and Nicky for matching Casey's best race result on 3 (previous) occassions.

Honda looks to (finally) be on the upswing with strong rides from Melandri and de Puniet in addition to the Repsol boys.

Spies had a great start and a solid ride. His biggest worry may be the potential resurgence of the Honda satellite teams neutering the advantage of his M1, and whose riders may then start making him look rather ordinary.

It appeared that the (softer) option Bridgestone rear was the way to go--the guys running the harder rear didn't/couldn't mount the expected charge in the latter laps.

Well Spies certainly blew another chance to establish himself. Best bike, good start and 2 major rivals out but he still gets blown away by Melandri and RdP. OK - he put in a solid ride for a rookie but with 8 GP's now behind him he is looking more and more like another decent superbike rider who couldn't make the step up.
Dani and Dovi on the other hand look like they will be making Lorenzo earn his money for the rest of the season.
