10 pages of Ben-trolling incoming.

The louder the haters get the more they think he's on the right track. Threatened by someone else's success. LOL.

I'm greatly amused by their antics and looking forward to another quality crash discussion thread!

They said on Eurosport that the powers that be said that since Ben is a rookie he can't fill Vale's empty seat so that leaves Colin who is Contracted by Herve not Yamaha so that might not happen either. Not sure what's up with Colin but his pace in all practices was much better than race pace.

I wonder if Edwards had one too many beers the night before and was suffering from a bad hangover. LOL!

I feel bad to see him go from 5th all the way to 13th. I was really hoping to see him up fighting at the front. His times on Friday and Saturday showed he was able to be in the top five, but his 'mystery fatigue' is just weird. I'm going to guess a 'HANG OVER' is more likely the cause.

I believe you need to complete 9 MotoGP races before no longer being considered a rookie.
Even with the events Spies did for Suzuki, he is not there.
It is inevitable that Edwards will take the Fiat factory seat. Rossi will have a say in it and because of the 6 engine rule Rossi won't want a crasher aboard plus he always got on with Edwards.

The question then is, who will Tech3 draft in to replace?
I think there is a good chance Toseland will come back for Silverstone because he knows the team / bike, no WSB race that weekend, plus pressure from Dorna to have a Brit to try and promote the event following Rossi's absense.

Toby and Julian (Eurosport guys) seem pretty adamant that we will not see JT back in Motogp. If it's nine races and Fiat has 2 more races before they need to field another rider that would put Spies on mark to fill the seat after the 3rd race. It would be nice to see Burgess and Crew help the Tech3 guys with a bit of help perhaps since Lorenzo seems to have it dialed.

If Colin's illness continues maybe there is some toxic substance in the MotoGP garage. Anyway forget JT back in for Rossi. Colin is all they have in reserve. Maybe give Spies a thinly disguised Rossi bike instead.

Confidence rebuilding and mystery fatigue, well that explains it.
In reality Ben's 7th could have been a 10th to 11th,Rossi not there,Marco Sic taking a trip trough the gravel Niki losing the front end and Capirex on a under performing Suki, now then boys tell me he had a good day.I see this has a performance equal to or below JT's standards. I like Ben contrary to popular belief on here but please stop bigging him to be the 5th coz he's far from it at the moment.

Gonna ask the question again why is Colin doing so crap this year, a 8th a 12th a 12th next to last and a 13th also next to last,he can blame fatigue all he wants but I not buying that.

Ben did good he got a good start up to fourth early on I thought at one point he could be going for the podium but hit problems 7th has to be considered good after two non finishes in Spain and France. Its kind of surprising watching Colin not doing good I thought with him saying he had last years Mugello setting I was thinking he would do good come race day but he didn't I think the same he is most likely doing a Stoner from last year.

Out of Curiosity why do people play down attrition as a spot in the race. If so and so hadn't binned it etc etc. Championships are won and lost by that same level of attrition and who is to say that those riders would have finished where they fell off. At the end of the day the points reflect finishes there is no asterisk that states that x number of riders could have lowered this placing.

By this logic Rossi did not win Qatar since Stoner fell off
