MotoGP » Rossi to be replaced from Catalunya onwards

A new rider will assume Valentino Rossi's hallowed mount from the Catalunya Grand Prix onwards, Yamaha have confirmed.

Rossi will get a say in who rides the bike too. If Spies was allowed to ride it, I don't think he would want him to have the ride as he is riding impressively so far and nobody wants their replacement to do too well. Not that Yamaha will ever kick Rossi out.
Going to miss Rossi at Silverstone, my main reason for going :-(

Well

1. It cant Be Speies - rookie rule.
2. It cant be Catchlow - rookie rule.
3. It wont be Toseland - pretty useless on a MotoGP bike

4. It will be Edwards - He's Yamaha already, He and Rossi are very good friends, who else better to ride the Great Ones #46 machine.

Viva Valentino, Forever #46
