"I'm really excited to go to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix. We used to race at Donington Park, which was a track that I really liked and where only myself and Valentino had won in all the Grand Prix classes - 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP. But despite this I'm very much looking forward to Silverstone. "

what he meant is he is a future rossi...

I think Silverstone will be more down to whoever can learn the track fastest rather than who has the fastest bike. For that reason I can see guys like Dovi, Spies and de Puniet doing quite well this weekend. Certainly Dovi has always been fast on British Soil, and as he is a resident of London I think he may become our honorary brit for the weekend.

Yeah ,good old 250 days, Pedrosa alone in front,Dovi and Lorenzo trading paints,de Puniet chrashing out etc etc...

No disrespect guys but I can't get over it.My bad.

I just hope that the rookies are going to show something this week end because it is their chance...

Interesting to see how Lorenzo is going to handle his new status also...

As a teen he had won 125cc championship in 2004, was 3rd in debut year in 250cc and then in 2006 and 2007 was 2nd in the 250cc championship on cr@ppy Honda machinery. Look at another Honda riders those years. When he moved in MotoGP, he was 5th in debut year on VERY old machinery. Yeah, last year was terrible but now Dovi proves that he can be fast and consistent on a good bike.
If you watch motogp only 1 year, then sorry mate. But this dude definitely deserves more respect than he is given

Mr. Dovizioso has certainly gotten my attention. And it would seem to me that the playing field being leveled by all the riders having to learn a new track.

Having the fastest motorcycle would be a huge advantage. Not a huge amount of skill blowing past the competition down the straights.

Dovi has certainly impressed this year. Best wishes and good luck at Silverstone Andrea !!!!!
