Ducati could never afford Rossi when he was in his prime. Now he is getting towards the twilight of his career and more prone to injuries, I suppose his price tag is more bargain basement. Can't help but suspect Rossi on a Ducati will find it tough to compete with Lorenzo installed at No1 rider at Yamaha.

It will indeed be very interesting to see who replaces Casey at Ducati next season.History has shown that Casey is the only rider to give Ducati any success with their bikes, and now even he is having a nightmare on it!
Some riders may well view a move to Ducati as taking up the "poisoned chalice"!
Would Vale benefit from moving there?
Personally,if i were him i would stay right where he is!
Time will tell.
