Marquez will win the 125 world championship this year, move up to Moto2 win that in 3 years and then step into MotoGP, and im sure hell win that sooner or later.

Looks good on paper. No doubt has talent. but i think he's being made look better than he is by his weight advantage. the proof will be in how he progresses moto2

Good luck all the same

must be great going from strugling ktm to top derbi

Back to 2008, when started at KTM(what a bunch of good riders it was : Kallio,Simon Marquez etc.), he had to carry 17kg Led ballast.His 15yr.child body only weigthed then 43kg. So it was necessary to complete the 136kg=rider+bike rule.
Not anymore, as hes a grown man. not the smallest/ligthest on the grid.
What makes now,the difference is,IMO, the superb bike Aki Ajo is setting for him. No surprise as this same team Won the 2008 title with DiMeglio.

I never post much re 125,but follow it avidly 'cos that is where the next GP mega performers generally come from.
Now,Marc is what 17 going on 16 or something ?
Listen up Ducati,save a pile of euros and get him on a retainer to race in GP with a sattelite Duc next year.
Presuming Stoner is off to Honda,Ducati need a young ace to nurture, not an old expert.
Definition:Expert...EX (has been)...SPURT (drip under pressure). This kid can skip the Honda cup. I may eat my words,but doubt it.

@Southerner

Seriously good as I said before, but to put him on a MotoGP bike now would be nuts. They may not be the as crazy as the old 500s or even the old 990s but make no mistake, current MotoGP bikes are the fastest, badest, toughest bikes in the world to ride and this kid is at least two years too early to ride one in anger. Stoner was a MotoGP rider at 21 and world champ at 22, so you can go to MotoGP young but 18 would be nuts.

He needs to hit the gym first to pump some iron and he won't want to do that when he is still on a 125 or won't be winning for long!

very nice...I dunno what to say anymore lol I'm speechless. This guy has exceeded my expectations...

"Marquez, unbeaten since his first ever GP victory at Mugello, will be chasing his fifth in a row at the German Grand Prix on June 18."

June 18?? I thought Sachsenring will be held on July 18...damn I missed the race then :p
