MotoGP » Rossi welcomed back by Lorenzo and Yoshikawa

Valentino Rossi's FIAT Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo and Yamaha's veteran test rider Wataru Yoshikawa - who stood in for the injured Italian at Catalunya - have both welcomed the record-breaking MotoGP legend back to the fray at the Sachsenring in Germany this weekend

If Rossi races in Germany and comes away realizing that he needs more time to heal does that mean Fiat has another 3 rounds to replace him again??

Of course Lorenzo want him back to stop the Rossi's fanboys saying motogp is dead without Rossi, it will help to enrich Lorenzo's world championship winning title.

Fabulous news :-o

I always thought it was Dr Claudio Costa who was in the position to give the go ahead for a rider to race instead of the medical chief of the circuit ??

Anybody know if this has always been the case or if this has changed in the recent years ?

The only thing about this weekend that is a bit sad is that it is doubtful that Rossi will challenge Lorenzo for the win after his comeback (but don't kid yourself, it will come soon!). If he comes 5th or above, the racing fans will give him a sound round of applause (deserved). The Rossi haters will give him a "haha, you're finished" (or at least that same person posting under multiple names will on here). Hope the guy stays out of harm's way, especially with De Angelis back with a point to prove!

Good luck Vale!

I wanna see DePuniet or Dovi win this one! Either one deserves a win after the way they have ridden this year so far.

@bollox

"Winning a title's always great but without Rossi maybe the championship has lost a bit of value." said Lorenzo.

He also said that...

"When he lost the 2006 championship to Nicky, he lost because he crashed in the last race. He lost to Casey in 2007 because Casey had a better bike and better tyres."

"The situation this year was different - he had a team mate with the same bike and he lost two races. At least before his crash, I was in front of him."

Hey!Jlo last year hadn't Rossi lost 3 or 4 races was still behind you after 5 races?? and he won it with races to spare.... The fact that Lorenzo thinks we are all stupid is insulting enough, says it all when after only a couple of races out he's trying to justify his performance... for me head to head that's 2 championships on the same kit and Rossi won both trying to say he'd win the championship anyway based on 2 result? Iknow it's supposed to be about the racing but do there have to be so many premature primadonnas.. it's like a kindergarten
