So that's 2 riders out for next weekend then, which means Tech3 and Colin Edwards will at least score some points, unfortunately for them so will the rest of the field, so it will still be a bad day at the office for them!

Oh my lord this season is one of the most "injured". You know what I mean

Shame for Randy, he's doing well. Honda test rider instead of him again? :?

Call McCoy, seriously

These men are hard! The unsung heros of sport :p I have the utmost and greatest of respect for them. For Randy it was a bad weekend to say the least (taking in Saturdays crash) but motorcycle racing is dangerous (very dangerous). I wish you well Randy :)

Like LCR but not a big de Puniet fan, however hope he makes a speedy recovery and gets back to the front of the best-of-the-rest behind the Aliens...

Well done Dorna....we now have a championship that tecnically speaking as of this moment is null and void - with all the riders injured at present it doesnt fulfill the minimum number of riders required for a championship unless replacements are found.....

Thanks to Dorna tinkering constantly with the rules we also have fule regulations, engine life regulations and a control tyre (mainly due to a certain multiple world champion being flogged and TV ratings going down). None of which have EVER been present in a PROTOTYPE class.

This Eurocentric bias we now see in the sport has been short sighted and will ultimately see it suffer!!!

The racing sucks, the rules suck....DORNA YOU SUCK!!!!!

Bad luck for Randy and Alex. The only possible up side to this will be if the injured riders a replaced next week by a couple of local hot-shots from AMA since the race will be in Laguna Seca. Put guys like Hayes, Eslick, Mladin or the Hayden boys on those bikes and we could be looking at an all american podium. Now that would shut the euro-whiners up for 5 minutes.
