Capirossi should have been given the D because given his vast experience and position on the team he is under performing massively.

And how can RL Hayden get a C for one cautious ride
and Espargaro gets a C- when he rode the wheels off his bike and got an 8th place finish tops and finished twice in front of title holder Simoncelli.

Colin has had the toughest year this time last year he was the best non factory rider and this season he has to deal with the new guys the rookies who have beaten him more than once. I very much doubt that he will get anywhere near his new team-mate in the races that are left.

quote "rl hayden should get an e at best... well, he is related to the weakest world champion in recent memory..."

Not really a fair assessment of Nicky. Switching to 800cc after winning the championship on the 990 didn't help his chances. He's not a 250GP rider (never will be), which is what the Honda 212 was based on. What will be interesting to see is how things change when the 1000cc rule comes back into effect and some of the electronic control goes away. I have a feeling Nicky will be a stronger force in the paddock when that happens.

Besides that, I don't think your memory goes back very far in MotoGP. It's safe to say that Kenny Roberts Jr. was a weaker MotoGP champion.
