The British manufacturer would use an entry into the premier class as a chance to re-launch itself on the motorcycling stage.

They ought to just sell a package where they record the exciting midpack battles when Jorge runs away. Call it Moto1.5. I'd pay to watch those battles for the entire race rather than just the leader crossing the line.

Will the 2012 MGP rules allow Norton to use their 588cc Rotary Wan kel engine? If so Norton could have a big leap on some others in already having a GP spec NRV588 up and running.

Nobody who has ever heard one of these engines at speed can ever forget the noise
