Not too surprised that Brivio would be leaving Yamaha as Lorenzo has his team manager and with Spies moving up it's likely he'll bring his team with him. That would leave Burgess's mechanics out as well. It wouldn't be too surprising if Brivio and Burgess followed Rossi to Ducati. A new challenge would probably help these long time work mates.

this only proves that Rossi didnt get his title alone..

Brivio and Burgess and the rest of his Mechanics..plays a big part of Rossi's history.

Its a good thing that Rossi knows how to value these people :)

meh.

He's the team manager on Rossi's side of the garage and not the whole team so I don't think it's a huge deal. Jorge side of the pits is still intact. Rossi's leaving so it's only natural that some people on his side will be leaving as well.

Good luck to Brivio in future endeavors. I'm sure he will make out well.

That's just the magnetism of Valentino Rossi, they all want to stick with him and I'm sure Jerry Burgess and his mechanics will go with him as well....It's all starting to fall into place now with Ducati saying to Valentino that it up to him who comes along with you.

The only reason Yamaha made a title for him was cause it was a stipulation from Vale....As soon as Vale announced he would leave... Brivio has no choice but to find a new career path.

Yamaha have arguably the best bike on the grid in 2010. Just like Honda did in 2003.

The acid test will be can Spies and Lorenzo, plus their engineers give the factory the necessary lead to keep the Yamaha up there? If they can then then it will do them no harm at all.

If they can't then Ducati can look forward to the sort of Domination thet Yamaha had in 2004/2005.

Unless of course Stoner and his team can lead Honda there... Only time will tell.

I hope all three teams can develop and win... but hope Rossi wins more :)
