Crash.net the article should say "Valentino Rossi will under go surgery on his lingering shoulder injury"

i think next year hes gonna go like a scalded cat

there have been so many people writing him off (again)

and even some of the riders have made some odd remarks, that coupled with Yamaha placing their trust in younger riders that have not delivered yet and the fact hes going to the underdog team leave Rossi once again with it all to prove .

personally i think Yamaha will be reeling from defeat at the end of 2011 ...if it doesnt happen then it will definitely happen in 2012

you can say what you like about him being to old or not fast enough but you just dont get that many championships and not be something special

So this seems to confirm that Yamaha will hold him to his contract until 31st December 2010 & he has decided to make it look like his decision to have op.

It has always been about motivation for Rossi.

Which is why next season he will have all the motivation he needs.Coming off from an injury ridden 2010, coming on to a new manufacturer...
