Fair play Michele Pirro 8th on a bike you've never seen before against riders who have been on it for 11 races plus testing, he could get a full-time ride next year with Gresini. He's not setting the world alight in WSS either, but i don't know how long he is contracted to Ten Kate. Also well done Redding and lets hope Coghlan can improve on raceday.

Hopefully a good race in store. Redding looked good all session & it's great to see bikes sliding & being backed into the corners again, particularly turn 1! I think moto2's rapidly becoming my favourite top flight race class in the world from a spectators perspective.
Good luck to Scott!

Report says Kev Coghlan finished ahead of Elias in 12th. Bit wrong this as it seems to be Elia qualified 12th just ahead of Coghlan (shown as 13th)
Do the reporters check what they have written

All I can say is that has just proven again what a class act he is. I was watching from the corkscrew today and he was the first on the gas every time. Give it full GAS mate!!
