DO it Tony!
He should have never been kicked out last year, hopefully this will get him back to MOTOGP and hopefully he too will be refocused so no one has the impression he is not.

Don't know what it is about the guy. In MotoGP he only seemed to try at contract negotiation time. In Moto2, he's much more focused.Maybe he'll get back to MotoGP and revert. I hope not.

I know he used to whinge about DP being light which put him at a disadvantage.

Calvin,

Google "In Defense of Toni Elias", and read the article from Motomatters.com.

Many of you are clueless as to what type of "chance" Elias has had in GP.

Elias has been around for years, yet he has always had a big reputation for always performing in the latter part of the year, or "contract time", then whining about why he should get a good ride 'cos he got a poduim'. Bollox to "google", some of us saw it happen real time! Blame it on whatever you want, he was mid-pack for most of his career, apart from his awesome ride in 2006 (that was almost 5 years ago!).

Elias is better than some in MotoGP, but you really think a return will make any difference? he will still be mid pack!

Fanny, just google that damn article like the poster above suggested.

It doesn't matter what you saw before your eyes if you have no idea what the context was.

I disagree, I don't think Toni should go back to MotoGP. If he does he will more than likely be an also ran with mediocre machinery. I think he is far better off staying in Moto2. He is showing that he can realy ride these things.

The options:
MotoGP and be mid pack or,
Moto2 and be fighting for race wins and have a shot at the title.

Who gives a flying **** what Google thinks, Elias is a mid fielder, now regularly being beaten on equal machinery in Moto2, Iannuzzo deserves a ride in Motogp, as does Simone, as did Tomizowa.
Cetainly not a journeyman like Elias who, as everyone knows, put in an effort only at contract time.
