ROSSI COMES FROM THE GENERATION WHEN MOTOGP WAS AT ITS BEST. RACE WAS NEVER DECIDE BY STARTS ..ITS WAS ABOUT CUT THROAT FIGTING , BURNING TYRES AND SLIDING AND FIGHTING IT OUT TILL THE END,NO ELECTRONICS OR AIDS.. THAT WAS PURE RACING SKILL , REAL RACING ADRENALINE STUFF .

BUT THE NEW BREAD OF GUYS LIKE STONER ,LORENZO HAS THE MENTALITY OF WHO-HAS-THE-FASTEST-LAP-TIME SHOULD WIN. ESPECIALLY STONER.

THIS WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A NORMAL FIGHT FOR THE RACERS OF THE 90'S AND 80'S ..BUT NOW THE PRESENT GUYS THINK IT WAS AN EPIC BATTLE , UNFAIR .. HOW LAME IS THAT

THATS RACING JORGE WAKE UP. I FEEL IT MORE LIKE LOST PRIDE AND SOUR GRAPES . GOOD LUCK ROSSI .. CANT IMAGINE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MOTOGP WHEN HE RETIRES . BORING AND DEAD.

Gibernau, Stoner, lorenzo,= cry baby... ROSSI, DOOHAN, SHUMACKHER

SHUMACKHER and Rossi are like indeed. He made brilliant move to Barrichello by pushing him to the wall... he apologized later though. He has been kicked his ass by his teammate too.

Wow. Finally some really exciting dicing. After the snorefest and naff overtaking we've seen this year (apart from Hayden's final lap block pass a few races ago) I can't believe people are complaining about it.
That's what we've missed all year, regardless of the result.

Racing is tough, there should be no moaning. I am sure those last two laps engines, tyres, setup etc. meant nothing it was all about skill, balls and pride. Lorenzo obviously still thinks he has something to prove and did not manage to prove it today (haha bad luck). Rossi demonstrated why he has won so many championships, when he plays "chicken" with his rivals he rarely looses.

I can't be sure but I think that the majority of posters slagging Rossi as dangerous, are doing it because they hate Rossi. If they were fans of Lorenzo they would be enjoying the brilliant fight that he put up against Rossi. George showed guts and should be proud, and his fans should be too, after all he had a lot to lose.

I love it when you come on here and read all the bleeting by the Rossi haters, just shows that he was on the ball today. Totally fit and I think Rossi would have been fighting for the win. As with Stoner in 2007, JLo tried to stamp his authority onan injured Rossi and got an 4ss kicking just like Casey did... simple as, crying afterwards is for X factor not bike racing.. Casey lost any credibility he had that day and has never fully recovered, be interesting to see how JLo handles it, not to well so far..
Incidently talk is cheap, JLos engine looked to be more than a match for Rossi's on the short straights, and top speed?? Ducati...

Go Rossi you beauty!!

From Jorge's comments it goes to show that MotoGP will be dead pretty soon...

Gone were the days of aggressive riding and pure racing on the 2 stroke 500cc monsters.

Other than Vale, Capirex and the Tornado, the rest of the top riders can now go and suckle on their mama's tits. Bunch of whiners...

There is no point wingeing to the press about other riders riding ethics, you settle it out on the track...

Notice how if Stoner passes Rossi he just barges through and forces him offline ....he's only done this since Lugana Seca .....and Rossi hasn't tried the "brake check" thing on Stoner since

Jorge needs to keep his mouth closed and go out and give as good as he got

The difference between champions and legends is their capacity for cut throat racing and winning these types of battles time and time again (how many people have been listed in Rossi's history of these battles -Biaggi, Gibernau, Stoner, Lorenzo). And when they don't they are mostly gracious in defeat.

Lorenzo should take note. He has a chance to be a legend but needs to come through battles like this a little better and less bitter.
