MotoGP » Yamaha: Rossi was 'too aggressive'

"We made our position clear. You don't do this; especially considering the situation in the championship."

With Pedrosa braking his collarbone, Lorenzo just has to cruise in 4th or 10th through the line.

If he was so worried about crashing, he should have left Rossi more room in the S corner on the penultimate lap. Wonder what Jarvis thinks about that.

Yamaha is obviously backing up their next year´s rider. Fair enough, but instead of blaming Rossi in the media for being too agressive they should have showed some class and respect by telling him their opinion behind doors in Lorenzo´s presence. As has been already stated many times by others, Lorenzo should have played it safely but instead he wanted to come out big by squashing Rossi. It´s not as if Lorenzo´s title was in jeopardy and that he needed those couple more points. Does anyone honestly think Rossi wasn´t going to put up a fight? Might have been different if the championship was closer, which isn´t the case.

Valentino did what he gets paid to do and that is to race. Jorge is just a spoilt kid who quite often throws his toys out of his pram when things dont go his way. Jorge is a wannabe rossi, but he will never be.

Oh my lord golden boy Lorenzo can't match GOAT when he is fast, it's something to think about. What a bunch of hypocrites Yamaha are. But I guess Vale doesn't care about it and will race like GOAT, so Yamaha will shut up, especially next year when their bike becomes cr@p

If you truly want to be like Rossi, and it's clear you do with your matching leathers, helmets and after win stints, man up and congratulate the guy who beat you! That's what sets Rossi apart from the rest of the crowd. He always congratulates his opponents and takes responsibility for his own stuff ups! Viva #46!! :)

What bull**** from Yamaha.
For that last few races Lorenzo has been in a position to control and manage hischampionship. In Motegi it was made easier for him to control it with the fact that Pedrosa was out. If he had any sort of racing brain he would have calculated this and realised that finishing 4th would have meant only needing to get 8 in Sepang. Yamaha have worked with Rossi for many years and know that Rossi is an out an out racer. Yamaha should really be asking Lorenzo what he was playing at taking on Rossi. Fighting for constructors ? Whats their point, either rider finishing in a third of fourth would have given them the same amount of points!

Either rider in 3rd and 4th gives them the same points, duh!but neither rider finishing because they crashed out gives them zero and possible injuries to both riders dummass rossi fan.
