Melandri is becoming quite pathetic, another year, another bike, another team which still isn't good enough for him and he just wants to move on.

Well Marco, you've been on every bike in MGP till there's none left, how long will it take you to work your way through the WSB grid.

Phenominal talent, atrocious attitude.

What a waste!

I hope Simoncelli doesn't use his barging technique tomorrow at the front of the field. He could do some damage. what can you say about Melandri other than he should adopt the Hayden technique of always seeing silver linings on his sessions no matter how miserable.

Good job on MarcoS... I can't say that i expect him to every really be a consistant front runner but it looks like he has the talent to stick around. MarcoM?!?!? Where is the guy who was doing one-handed power slides at this track. He seems to be just giving up and i doubt with comments like that he'll be back in GP even if he does well in WSBK

Stunning comment from Melandri!!??!!

It's just one of those things that even if you think it you should never say it. After all the issues Cal & JT had with the R1 this year the last thing Sterilgarda needs is a rider who checks out mentally when the going gets tough.

I think there's a very good chance both the Brits might be saying I told you so next year.

Melandri's comments will have lit more fire and made his team-boss even more angry to the critical comments Fausto made about him two races ago. Sterilgarda Yamaha won't put up with that sort of behaviour when things start getting hard every rider who goes out on the track finds it hard but they don't say anything about it.

i love it...the next generation of riders edging to the front, spies/simoncelli/dovizioso (sorta)/lorenzo (sorta)...keep it fresh.

now bring on the liter-bikes...and we'll again have a SHOW!

Good job by Semi though I am a little worried about his agressive riding style. Hopefully he doesn't get the bonehead move of the day tomorrow. Melandri, man...I used to be a fan and was amazed with your performance on the Kawa last year but it's hard to believe he has the nerve to make comments like that. Just hope he silences the critics next season in WSBK.

Did Melandri say virtually the same thing towards the end of 2008 with Ducati?
And 2009 with Hayate?
He really is a complete numpty. Give this bozzo his P45 and have done.
