Wow!:)
This is great news and a wonderful and sportive gesture from Yamaha,
it proves they care for the sport and for what Valentino has done for them.
This will make the Valencia test all the more fascinating to follow.

Forza Vale!!:):p

It was all about leverage Morgue, they ain't thinking about the sport nor what Vale did for them.

Yamaha: First Lorenzo must get the championship than Rossi gets the ride.

They just as sellfish as Honda and many of those Japanese manufactures.

I appreciate your views Game but I like to think it is less cynical than that.
Furusawa is retiring after the season, he has always had an excellent relationship with Rossi and knows it would be spoiled by not releasing him from his contract.
It is also a clear signal towards Honda who were ungrateful to him.

you got it spot on game and they didnt want the huge pr backlash from the buying public. i reckon even the terestrial tv would have made a report on it. unlike last week when they completely blanked rossis awesome display in sepang. yet they trip over there tongues to be first reporting on the time trials in f1.but i digress whether u like him or not for his racing or personality no one can deny that he and his team are superb at sorting out a motorcycle an since the ducati is almost there anyway then their jobs is much easier than with the yamaha.
