Ah yes, the royalty from a little Island versus the Senator from Rome, but as in the ancient texts, Rome fell due to corruption and over staying and overextending itself during it's campaigns, could the same be said for Flossi ?.

J-Lo, enjoy the limelight, but ensure that you aren't corrupted by the trappings of royalty.

Spies has to improve his riding a lot before he can catch Lorenzo, even in his dreams. Spies is not fast enough. Rossi fell under Lorenzo's hammer, do you really think Spies has a chance? Spies will have his hands full fighting Dovi and Nicky, but Lorenzo, Rossi, Pedrosa and Stoner are waaaaaay out of his league. I mean, please dude, seriously?!? Do you also believe in the Tooth Fairy?

Great season by George and he deserves to enjoy every moment he has as Champion. Also richly deserved by the Spanish people to have a Spanish ace in GP to celebrate with.
They put so much effort into GP,the facilities and everything else.Good on them.

A fantastic season and a well deserved championship, now his work begins in earnest, Jorge learns from his mistakes so well just look at his 2009 season, I think Spies will be a challenge and keep him honest but if he can deal with Rossi as a team mate Spies should not be a real problem for next season anyway, the real challenge (for everyone)will come from Stoner on the Honda.

I'm a Lorenzo fan, but I do cringe at his celebrations, and find that his body language can appear arrogant, but when he speaks he's always polite and respectful to other riders, the more disrespectful remarks I see here the more I admire him for being as honest as he can be, nobody is perfect.

Enjoy Jorge, you are the champ

Hedgeholer - or the US for that matter. That just shows how popular motorcycle racing is in Spain. Crazy. And like you said, good for them for supporting it.
