@ grammarpolice....

If you insist on pulling other people up for their grammar, please ensure that your grammar is perfect first.

You should have a question mark after 'analogy', and the comma is not in the correct place.

Other than that, and the fact your sentance structure is appauling, you are awarded 2 out of 10.

Please go back to school.

(To the 'OFFICIAL' grammar police, please spot the deliberate mistake)

Head over to Soup and read the recent Spies post (from the man himself) before you all label him a pu$$y for sitting out the Friday session at Phillip Island. While he used conditions and unusable data as a reason for not venturing out he was actually under the weather pretty good. Not that it matters, had he claimed to be sick he still would have been bashed for his choice.

greeniner, exactly. Spies deserves a pat on the back. We know how frightened and terrified he is of the rain and bad weather, put he managed to take a deep breath and get a good 5th place finish.

Despite the fact that the inside of his visor was covered in tears, and his leathers massively weighed down with turd, due to him cacking himself, he still put in a decent time. Well done Spies!

@The Real grammar police.
Thankyou for pointing out my mistakes,I was only making a point to Motojunky(or should I say you) for criticising NSS for his grammar.I still think the comma is in the right place but won't argue with somebody who is obviously superior to myself.Just 2 little things, sentance should be sentence and appaulling should be appalling.
Once again touche.

For those bashing Spies and saying he was making excuses for not going out the first session at PI (and today at Estoril), he doesn't have to explain himself to anyone but his team and Yamaha. And they both seem pretty pleased with him.

Also, while I am glad he is up there on the timing charts today, expecially for learning a new track again, it means nothing. No one scores any points on Friday or Saturday. Sunday is where it counts and Ben got 5th at Phillip Island, ahead of many other riders that chose to ride during the first wet/windy session he skipped. No one goes back to look at how a rider did during the practice and warm up sessions once a season finishes. I will say this again, it is the finish position during the race that counts.

I expect Ben will get another good result this weekend too. Probably the highest finisher on a satellite bike, since he has accomplished that feat several times this year.
