Rossi may win races and even championships on the Ducati. It is, after all, a great bike and its capabilites are beyond any doubt. But what is sure is that he won't be able to be so much faster than anybody else on the track as Stoner manages to be on a good day. Rossi probably will fall less too.

Casey is gonna set rossi a benchmark time this weekend and Ill wager a slab of Bundy & coke valentino won't get anywhere near Stoners times on the Ducati come testing..
Maybe next year when Ducati build a bike rossi and burgess can tailor to suit #46's liking for handling and braking over outright horsepower.

On the otherhand I think Stoner will click with the clearly better handling and more powerfull Honda.

I'm more interested in testing now, this year is over

This track suits Stoner and the ducati plus JLo and Rossi dont usually go well here.

Unless he puts it in the gravel no one will get near #27 this weekend!

"Crash...please retract my last comment. I forgot Casey has already had a season on a proven Honda which he launched down the road every other race weekend."

Don't forget it was a satellite bike on Michelin tyres in his rookie year, granted he has visited the gravel a few too many times in the years since too, but he is getting more out of that Duc than anyone else whereas the Honda looks like a good machine and I think Casey has improved and matured enough to be competitive on it without having to beat it in to submission all the time.

Nice to see the stoney boys wetting themselves already.
'Rossi won't be able to get near Casey this weekend"
Considering this is one of moaners best tracks and he has been riding the duke for the last four years and has had lead on development all that time he should at the very least be quickest on it given it's Rossis first go. However the bike is not capable of winning championships, Rossi has been injured every race but one this season and has had four race out having his leg put back in and he is still beating Casey.
Give Vale a few goes, which is what you are giving Casey and the bike will be as quick and everyone will be able to ride it quickly. Considering how bad it is that will be some feat. The only tider racing today who mght ant the duke over the yam is stoner and he's decided t leave ducati.. Nobody wants to ride moaners bike, draw your own conclusions as of next year they will be fighting for pramac seats..
