"Stoner is very fast here, it looked like he was in a different sport today, but it's my last race for Yamaha and I will do everything I can to be on the podium" - Valentino Rossi.

Rossi got steadily faster and faster during Qually so they are getting there, but what on earth has happened with their setup skills over the last few weeks? Lorenzo doesn't seem to have any problems.

I noticed that Yamaha have gone back to their 'slow' engine????? (Thanks to MotoGP site)

right on sladge...
no problem with setup, no problems with crashes or a wrong tire choices. like his rivals: Rossi, Pedrosa, Stoner, Spies,...one after another crashes and is out of few rounds, if it's not a crash then they say they got the wrong setup, if its not the set up than its the wrong tire choice, just like a ballerina who can't dance says her dress is too loose. Lets hope next season the rivals will be more relevant or I will have to go and kick JLo butt myself. I wish anyway. he he he
9 disagrees? you disagree with what ? facts? i did not make the news/facts i just quoted them, or is it my joke about kicking jlo's butt, are u taking it litteraly?...or, ok i see now,i compared them to a ballerina with excuses yet none of them were giving excuses. so yeah i was wrong there , my mistake, i suppose that's why the

Of course Rossi wants to win, he's more likely to try for back to back wins on Yamaha & Ducati as he did from Honda to Yamaha than worry about 47 wins.

As for slowly improving, which session were you watching, in the session I saw he was 11th then somehow pulled a second from somewhere and went 8th then 4th in the last 2 minutes.

Though people like to speculate about why rossi is slower, or what he cares about more, what he's planning etc The fact remains that this is his last race on equal machinery to what people consider his biggest challenger ever. Of course he wants to win and is trying as hard as he can to do so and prove a point.

If he beats Lorenzo next year people will say the yamaha isn't as good as the Ducati. If he loses people will say the Ducati isn't as good as the Yamaha, this is his last chance to settle the argument and it would be nice to see him a bit more competitive and allow us the see the battle.

Me think Vale's spell reflected back and now he has Lorenzo's monkey on his back and he can't quite get rid off him. Lorenzo seems to have handled the vodoo quite well this season.

I agree 100% with The Morgue, hope for a clean and safe last race of 2010 season, also last race for Stoner in a Ducati as well as The Doctor in a Yamaha, very emmotional for both of them,go for it Vale.
