Good Luck Champion! Valentino Rossi is The Best! Always! Only stupid guys saying you are going downhill as normal people will certainly understand you are injured. Prove it next season Vale, Good Luck!

I really can't believe the degree to which the Rossi lickers have deluded themselves this time, this is the biggest act of "bottling it" big time in world level motorsport since Mansell ducked off to Indy cars instead of defending his F1 crown.

I used to be a huge Rossi fan, but have become increasingly disappointed to how he has reacted to the challenge of the young guns over the past few years.

Unlike others, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt over the shoulder injury this year so I really, really, wanted him to take the winter out and get fit, come back next year fighting, kick Lorenzo's @ss, and prove that he was top dog AT YAMAHA.

But this was his greatest challenge, not his teams challenge, HIS challenge, and he's bottled it, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

That cuddling the bike was the tackiest thing since......, well since that nauseating letter he wrote. But I can sort of understand his being torn between the Yamaha and a new start with Ducati. It's like Jorge moved into Rossi's house and had an affair with his perfect wife. By the time Rossi realised what was going on, his perfect wife was his no more! The only thing to do was to leave and get with an exciting, but ultimately loose and unstable red blooded woman. She'll treat you mean, but will help you to forget the one that got away...

Am I the only person that is excited at the thought of Rossi on a Ducati fighting with Jorge on the Yamaha and Pedrosa and Stoner on the Honda's.

I Can't wait as it should prove who can and can't ride and who can and can' develop the bike.

Bring it on
