I didn't expect Takahashi to go with Elias, but I did thought he would be right up there with Simon, Iannone en Luthi. He had a very experienced team behind him. His victory in Catalunya has been good (although given by Iannone) and also second at Brno, but especially the last couple of races were crappy ones!

I'm a fan and happy he will take the Gresini seat. He must improve massively in 2011.

Pirro will fit as the second rider I think. Wouldn't have been bad if he stayed for at least another season in WSS, but maybe it will work out good.

Presumably Ten Kate are not running WSS next year.

I have heard it is now more expensive to run WSS than Moto2 in which case this years thin WSS grid will probably be thread bare next year.

I want the new privateer 1000's to be a success in MotoGP, but not if they end up cheaper and drain WSB of privateer teams.

@Suck Cylinder
Whats more expensive? a 150bhp tuned-to-hell engine or a standard 120bhp engine??

GP's kind of crapped on WSS here, but which series was more exciting? 4winners in WSS (I think), or 9winners in Moto2.

No brainer WSB directors will have to get their thinking hats on.

Green - Engines obviously a lot cheaper in Moto2 - but more rounds / more fly away races and chassis more expensive in Moto2. don't know how the tyre costs compare.

At the moment it is cheaper to compete in Moto2 than 125, but presumably that will change when Moto3 starts.

It was news. De Angelis is with JiR again a loyalty sort of thing (can't blame him he's quick on it 2) and Corsi as he has no manager and has said to 2 teams he would like to ride for them, but i'm unsure what he was testing today. One of the teams is JiR I' sure the other team is Giampiero Sacchi's team. Both are claiming Corsi will ride for them.
