Good to see. No doubt a few seconds can be shaved off with a much higher spec of engine (not endurance spec) and electronic improvements, not to mention chassis/setup revision after the test. I hope there will be other manufactures to follow suite!

I miss the days of the TZ 750 and RG 500, when privateers had a chance of upsetting the kings of their class.

Didn't think it would take bob butman long to type a anti rossi post. When your bitter and jealous like that your life must be so difficult. Feel sorry for the people around you and for backing a loser. Someone who misses races cos he can't eat a bowl of cereal with milk must of been hard for you to fathom. Anyway, lets just ignore his posts and comment on the sport we like and the prospects of new riders and machines on the grid. Eskil Suter obviously has talent when it comes to designing a well balanced chassis. When they finally have a engine to produce the power, its going to be interesting to see how the chassis responds to the braking and most off all the power delivery. Also BMW probably will come up with a decent traction control system. Exciting times in 2012 and hopefully we will get to see a 20 plus grid. Lets hope more chassis development companies take not and start there own development.

Seem like the Endurance engine type were the right choice for a successful MotoGP CRT test. I guess, after the cylinder modified to 81mm, 16,500rpm, 24 liters fuel limit and smoothed engine braking, the package should be competitive with the right rider and right circuit.

If there is an engineering company could provide a modified stock engine for Motogp 2012 requirements with affordable price, I think the grid will be expanded in no time. There was a number of chassis providers around, but lack of modified engines providers to make their life easy for privateers team.

And the bike was on Michelins, so difficult to compare to nowaday Bridgestone times. Does anyone know what type of Michelin? Old GP tires or Endurance tires?
